The greatest heroes and mentors in my life have been my grandmother, my mother, my uncle, my freshmen year pride leader Jeremy Harp, my Assistant Principal Roy Curry Jr., Cate Thompson, and Trey Waller. All of these people have been dedicated to my progression in several periods throughout my life. As I move towards my goals, these are the people I consider the most, because I am a reflection and extension of them.

As a brother of MALIK Fraternity, Incorporated, in honor of you, I would like to release my gratitude into the universe. Through your literature and your activism, I have become impacted, inspired, and driven to find truth in the world and deliver that truth to my people. Your memory, will not be lost, you will forever be remembered as a King. I have read about your trials and I have seen you triumph over them. In your honor, and all others who have sought change in the world like you have, I will continue to be a King, and will uplift and lead my community to prosperity.
