Jari Watson is a fourth year undergraduate student at Cornell University, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He is from Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated from Urban Prep Academies for Young Men- Bronzeville Campus as the Inaugural Valedictorian of the Class of 2014. Jari Watson is also a proud brother of  MALIK Fraternity, Inc. and a founder of the Cornell Village at Cornell University.

 

As a witness to and product of the impact of Chicago’s gang violence and poverty conditions, Jari has dedicated himself to servicing his community. He has set a personal responsibility on himself to provide opportunities for those within impoverished communities in order to counter the trends that keep them needy.
